Barbara A Marvel of Preston passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at her home in Preston. She was 70. She was born on February 18, 1948 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of the late William Thomas Trice and Alice Mae Wagner. Known for her cooking, baking and hospitality, Barbara owned and operated the Downtown Desserts and Café in Easton for many years. She was known for specialty cakes, desserts and lending an ear to customers over the years. She also enjoyed riding her motorcycle, reading, and dancing. One of her greatest joys in life was her family and grandchildren. She was proud to be the great grandmother of four sets of twins. She is survived by her two daughters, Cheryl Pinder and her husband Dale of Federalsburg, Bobbi Waddell and her husband Gary of Lewes, DE, 7 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Louise Gravy of Denton, Dorothy Passwaters of McClente, FL, Ruth Worm of Philadelphia, PA, and Mary Bisco of Cambridge; two brothers, Everett Trice of Denton, and George McGrath of Hurlock. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Paul Trice, Roland Trice, Albert Trice, Margaret Ewing, Marie McGrath and Mildred Wampler. Burial will be private.
