Elmer “Wayne” Robinson of Federalsburg, MD, passed away on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE. He was 73. He was born on June 14, 1945 in Greensboro, MD, the son of Carol Arlene Dolby Robinson and the late Franklin Elmer Robinson. He graduated from Colonel Richardson High School with the class of 1963. He married the love of his life, Leona Wilson, on November 29, 1964. He enjoyed farming, fishing, riding dirt bikes and motorcycles, going hunting and shooting, collecting antique tractors, and General Motors trucks. He is survived by his wife Leona Robinson, his children, David Robinson (Nancy), Christopher Robinson (Molly), his mother, Carol Robinson, a daughter in law Ivy Robinson, his grandchildren, Scott Robinson Jr., Allen Robinson (Haylee), Nathaniel Robinson, Emma Robinson, and Samuel Robinson, two great grandchildren, Hunter and Autumn Robinson, his siblings, Gene Robinson, Brenda Dean, and Cindy Harris. He was preceded in death by his father Franklin Robinson and his son Scott Allan Robinson. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 2pm at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD with Pastor James Michael officiating. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, July 12, from 1pm-2pm prior to the start of the service. Interment will be held at Bloomery Cemetery following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Federalsburg Boy Scouts of America, Troop 137, Danny Phillips, 507 Academy Ave, Federalsburg, MD 21632, or to Caroline County 4-H Rifle Club, Attention Wendi Potter, 9194 Legion Rd, Suite 4, Denton, MD 21629.
