Frederick F. Bailey

December 31, 1937 - March 23, 2022

Frederick Faye Bailey of Greenwood, DE passed away peacefully on March 23rd, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Frederick was born in Deposit, NY to Joseph and Marie Bailey on December 31st, 1937. Frederick and Shirley Jane were happily married for over 62 years and lived and worked on the family farm, J.E. Bailey and Sons. His love and devotion to his wife was inspiring. He was a wonderful husband, brother, father, and grandfather. Fredrick enjoyed working on the farm and spending time with his family. He also had a love for boxer dogs and had many throughout his life. His strength, determination, work ethic, and love for his wife and family will never be forgotten. Frederick is survived by his children, Alan F. Bailey and his wife, Jane, and Glenn R. Bailey and his wife, Norma, all of Greenwood; his brother, Edward Bailey of Greenwood; grandchildren, Christine Wroten, Michelle Williams, Nicole Bazemore, Justin Bailey, Laura Griffith, Alyssa Brown, Natalie Freeze; great-grandchildren, Angela Williams, Seth Wroten, Evan Wroten, Riley Griffith, Layla Freeze, Elliott Bazemore, Olivia Freeze, Julia Bailey, Cal Bazemore, Amelia Brown, Ella Freeze, Jack Griffith and many nieces and nephews. Frederick was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Marie and his wife, Shirley Jane Bailey. There will be a viewing at Framptom Funeral Home in Greenwood, DE on Friday, March 25th, 2022 from 1pm - 2pm and a graveside service at Bloomery Cemetery in Federalsburg, MD at 2:30 pm. Frederick's grandchildren will lead the service.
