Kory Lee Andrew of Preston passed away at his home on Friday, December 3, 2021, from medical complications . He was 51. He was born on July 8, 1970 in Easton, Maryland, the son of Richard L. Andrew and Donna Lomax Andrew of Preston. Growing up in Caroline County, Kory graduated from Colonel Richardson High School with the class of 1988. After his education, Kory worked for Lowes Home Improvement Warehouse in Seaford as the assistant manager. He later worked for Ace Hardware until health complications forced him to quit. He later assisted his family caring for his mother in their home. In his free time, Kory loved movies and comics. Known for his useless trivia, movie line quotes, and sense of humor he loved spending time with his family, nieces and nephews. He loved the Christmas Holiday and always wanted to make things special for his family. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his siblings: Kari Farnell and her husband Chris of Federalsburg, Katie Whaples and her husband Bobby of Preston, and Kasey Andrew and his wife Diane of Preston; his nieces and nephews: Meridith Gray and her husband Jordan, Christopher Farnell, Alyson Whitman and her husband Brian, Andrew Whaples, Austin Whaples, Aidan Whaples, Asher Whaples; one great nephew: Maverick Gray and one great niece: McKenna Gray. A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 1:00 at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston with the Reverend Mark Farnell officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Framptom Funeral Home, 216 North Main Street, Federalsburg MD 21632 to defray funeral costs.
