Marlene,How well I recall the beautiful relationship that you and Ken developed as young people. My father had a store across from the post office in Wittman, and I recall knowing you and your family as I was growing up. For many years now, I have been away from the Eastern Shore (presently in the small town of Smithsburg, MD). I''ll always remember Wittman Methodist Church and the people I knew who attended the church.
Our heart goes out to you and your three children. Ken was not just a customer of mine, he was also a very good friend. We did a little traveling together. He taught me a lot, and I hope I helped him along the way. He was a man who stood for the better things in life and would not settle for second best. Bless you all.
