What can you say when you lose someone dear. Someone you could sit and chat with for hours--and I do mean hours. I will truly miss Mom Martha. She was an inspiration to everyone she met--even my daughters 10 year old friends. She would tell them life stories and they listened attentively. She never met a stranger!!! She was never judgmental! She was a trusted and devoted friend/mother/teacher to so many. She left us much to consider, ponder and work on. I bet we all learned something from Martha Hall. I will miss nana so very much! She was one of my favorite people to go to. I remember she talked to my friends and I about life. We enjoyed it I really learned from her. My friends really liked, or should I say loved her home made ice cream. Yeah, good times, I am getting throught it though. I talk to her everytime when I pray, every night every day. We will all miss her jokes, and loving smile in the past. Thats just all you need to do. I just really want to say I love you, and always will. To the Hall Family: We met Ms. Martha around the time that her grandaughter Leigh was born and she stayed here in Manassas. Got to know her and realized that she was a sweet and wonderful women of God. She would speak her mind and could hit pretty hard also when we were joking with her. She will be truly missed and I'm sorry that I didn't get to taste the homemade ice cream that Leigh talked about. You are in a better place Ms Hall. I remember a long talk with Ms. Martha in FL about her time as a hairdresser. She knew her stuff! Her words proved the old saying, "There is nothing new under the sun".
