Aaron W. "Bubby" Carroll Jr.'s Obituary
Aaron "Bubby" W. Carroll, Jr of Preston passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the University of Maryland Medical System at Easton. He was 74 years old.
Bubby was born on October 7, 1951 in Easton, Maryland; the son of the late Aaron W. Carroll, Sr. and Lillian Blessing Carroll.
He graduated from Colonel Richardson High School with the class of 1970. He later enlisted in the United States Army and served in Vietnam. He then returned home and worked as a gas technician for local propane companies for 25+ years. His last employment was with Suburban Propane. Although he enjoyed his work, he was sure to welcome time with his friends and family and an ice cold 10oz Budweiser. He was an avid Orioles and NASCAR fan. Over the years he enjoyed playing Men's softball, racing go carts, and spending time playing cards and other games at the party shed with his buddies.
Bubby is survived by two daughters Lisa Foster of Easton and Erin Carroll of Baltimore; three grandchildren: Brooklyn Burns (Matt), Georgia Foster and Carolina "Bay" Foster; one great grandchild: Eleanor Myrick; His Siblings: Vicky Jester (Timmy) and Darrin Carroll (Lisa); a brother-in-law Wayne Carels; along with his companion Debra Willey and long extended list of family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Sharon Carels and granddaughter Lillian Marie Carroll. As well as his beloved dog, Baby.
A funeral service celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 1:00PM at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Pastor Bobby Davis officiating. He will be laid to rest at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston following the service. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00PM. The family will host light affairs and time to gather directly following at Preston Volunteer Fire Department.
