Albert Dean Monson's Obituary
Albert Dean Monson, of Bridgeville, DE, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. He was 77.
He was born on October 14, 1937 in Baltimore and was a son of the late Albert Joseph Monson and Hazel Margaret Dean Monson.
On January 14, 1961, he married Della Virginia Twigg. He lived in Pasadena Maryland for 40 years before retiring to Delaware. Mr. Monson was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a lifetime member of the Brooklyn Park Rod and Gun Club, which he founded in 1955. He was also a member of the Union Local 100, where he served on the apprentice board for a number of years.
Mr. Monson is survived by his wife of 54 years, Della Monson, of Bridgeville, two sons, Steve Monson, and his wife, Christine, of Halethrope, and Ken Monson and his wife, Margaret, of Bridgeville, three grandchildren, Amanda Monson, Nicholas Monson, and Lucas Monson, a step-granddaughter, Samantha Lydard and a great grandson, Alex McKelvey.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Pastor Larry Pritcher officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
