Alice M. Montone
Bozman: Alice Maye Montone, of Bozman, died at the Memorial Hospital, Easton, Md. On Wednesday, November 17, 2010. She was 90.
Born in Talbot County on May 20 1920, she was the daughter of the late Sadie Bromwell. Alice attended Talbot Co. public schools. For many years she worked as a secretary for the State Government in Annapolis. Her husband Anthony Montone a Baltimore businessman died on November 25, 1960.
She was a member of the Riverview Charge of the United Methodist Church where she attended the Bozman and Neavitt Churches. In addition she was a member of the Bozman Christian Women and a former member of the ladies aux. for the St. Michaels Fire Dept.
Mrs. Montone, or “Alice Maye†as she was known by all is survived by a nephew, with whom she made her home; Wm. Thomas Ball Sr; of Bozman, a Niece; Virginia Tyler of Preston, Md. And a beloved brother; James Clifton Haddaway of Tilghman, Md. She is also survived by many great-niece and nephews and her extended church family.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM at the Bozman United Methodist Church on Sunday, May 29, 2011.
Burial was held privately at the Lorraine Park Cemetery, Baltimore.
