Alice Perry's Obituary
Alice K. Perry of Seaford died on Tuesday, May 27, 2007 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. She was 86.
She was born on September 16, 1921 at Choptank near Preston the daughter of the late Charlie V. Kenton and Matilda Emma Lubba Kenton. Her husband, Robert D. Perry, died on December 10. 1990 She was born and raised in Maryland and lived in Cambridge for many years before moving to Seaford. During her life she worked as a seamstress last working for Rob-Roy in Cambridge before retiring in 1974. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Seaford, was a member of WPS in Seaford, was a lifetime member of VFW Post 1460 in Cambridge and was also a member of American Legion Post 87 in Cambridge. She is survived by a son, Larry Merrick and his wife Lyle Ann of Bridgeville, a grand-daughter Robin M. Peterson and a great-grandson, Davey D. Peterson both of Bridgeville, two brothers, Charles Kenton of Preston, MD and Franklin Kenton of Laurel, DE and four sisters Irene Chambers of Preston, Audrey Mae Willoughby of Seaford, DE, Betty Lou Lare of Federalsburg and Wanda North of Henderson, MD and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. A brother, David Kenton preceded her in death. Funeral services for her will be held on Monday, June 2, 2008 at 12 noon at Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with Pastor Edwin Thress officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 to 12. Interment will follow at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock.
