Alison Ann Lednum's Obituary
Alison Ann Lednum of St. Michaels, MD passed away April 19, 2024. She was 40.
Born June 2, 1983 in Easton, MD, she is the daughter of Thomas Lednum and Diane Cummings Gallagher.
Being on the water was her passion and she took much pride in being a local waterman. When she wasn't on the water, she could be found horseback riding or out on the beach enjoying the Eastern Shore sunsets. Alison enjoyed reading books and dabbled in arts and crafts. But nothing could top being "Nina" to her grandson, Tucker.
Alison is survived by her father Thomas Lednum (Judy) of Tilghman Island and Diane Gallagher of St. Michaels. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter: Maisie Hambleton (Mike) and grandson Tucker Mink of Fedealsburg; a sister: Katie Murphy of Tilghman Island; a brother: Jeffrey Cummings of St. Michaels; maternal and paternal grandmothers: Lois Lednum of Tilghman Island and Froney Cummings of St. Michaels; a cousin: Sandy Jones (BJ) of Tilghman Island; an aunt: Cindy Jones (Dennis) of Tilghman Island; three uncles: Donald Lednum of Tilghman Island, Gary Lednum (Amy) of Preston, and Mike Lednum of Tilghman Island; her niece: Kara Gowe of Easton; a nephew: Aiden Jones of Tilghman Island; her stepmother: Michele Simmons of St. Michaels; and her longtime friend Andy Hambleton of Bozman.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather Richard "Dickie" Lednum and her cousin Danny Warfield.
There will a Celebration of life held at the Tilghman Methodist Church, Tilghman, MD. on Friday May 3, 2024 at 3:00PM where the family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00PM.
