Alma Mae Meredith's Obituary
Alma Mae Meredith of Federalsburg, MD passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at UMSMC in Easton. She was 68.
She was born July 17, 1945 in Easton, the daughter of the late Francis Carlton Dulin and Kathleen Bell Dulin.
She graduated from Colonel Richardson High School class of 1963. She retired after 19 ½ years as a bookkeeper for Provident State Bank. She was an active member of Concord United Methodist Church where she volunteered with Concord United Methodist Women. Alma loved to walk, travel, and take care of her family.
She is survived by her husband of over fifty years, Wendell Lee Meredith whom she married, March 16, 1963, her son, Dwayne Meredith, a grandson, D.L. Meredith, Jr. all of Federalsburg, two sisters, Bootsie Rigsby of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Linda Fischer of Federalsburg, a brother, Carlton Emory Dulin of Galveston, TX, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, George Dulin.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery near Federalsburg. Memorial contributions may be to Concord United Methodist Women, PO Box 461, Denton, MD 21629.
