Anna Mae Schrock Brenneman
Born Anna Mae Schrock was born in Greenwood Delaware on May 17, 1932, to Eli C. and Lucy V. (Bender) Schrock. Eli was a farmer and Lucy a housewife, midwife and registered nurse.
Anna was born the third of ten siblings, she was a registered nurse and worked for many years at Milford Memorial hospital, in Milford, Delaware.
Anna married Harold A. Brenneman from Elida, Ohio in 1957. They met while Harold did his 1W (alternative service) in the State Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware. They had four sons.
Preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, her husband Harold in 1995, and their youngest son Richard in 2015.
Anna enjoyed traveling and meeting new friends. Since 2004, she spent much of her time in El Salvador with her oldest son and his family where she made many friends and contacts.
Anna is survived by her three sons; Ronald Brenneman of Greenwood, DE; Paul Brenneman of Burkesville, VA; and Carl Brenneman of Greenwood, DE. Five siblings, seven Grandchildren and four Great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Framptom Funeral Home – Fleischauer Chapel, Greenwood, Delaware, on Sunday, November 8, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00PM.
Burial will be private.
