Anna Mae Meredith's Obituary
Anna Mae Meredith of Federalsburg passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in Greenwood, DE. She was 90.
She was born on January 22, 1923 in Federalsburg, the daughter of the late Harlan Clevenger and Maggie Dryden Lare Clevenger.
She was married to Russell A. Meredith who preceded her in death in December of 1979. She was a member and past trustee of Bloomery United Methodist Church. She worked at Maryland Plastics as a warehouse supervisor for 65 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Johnson and her husband, Jack of Seaford, DE, Pam Tull-Baynum and her husband, James of Greenwood, DE, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, a sister, Cora Bell O’Connor of Federalsburg, brother in law, William Frampton of Denton, sister in law, Barbara Taylor and her husband, Jack of Seaford, DE and a daughter in law, Lucille Meredith of Sykesville, MD; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, John Robert Meredith, two sisters, Eloise “Doodle” Fretterd and Martha Lee Frampton, and a son in law, Dennis Tull.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 2:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Marie Coulbourne officiating. Interment will follow in Bloomery Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
