It's been a week now since Mom passed away. It is just so hard to believe. So hard to beleive that such a vibrant, active lady can actually die the way she did..... choking. We all just knew we had more years with her, to help her to adjust to her dementia. When we laook bck now, she had been doing a great job of cover up for these slow losses in memory and functioning. She always answered, when asked how she was doing, NOT BAD FOR AN OLD LADY.Truth of the matter is she wasn't doing bad for a young lady!!!!!! In Sept/Oct she was still able to get doen in the floor and play with Molly and Hayden and jusmp up faster than any of us. She was so proud of her family. She didn't always find the words to tell us, but we would hear how she had bragged about us to someone else. And when the great grandchildren came along, all adults lost their importancde. She was so veryl proud to be a great grandmother. She just felt that great meant she was good at it. And she was.!!!!! So glad we had the opportunity to tell each other we loved each other, since time goes bye so fast with unspoken works. I love you Mom and miss you dearly.
