Anna Mae Harris' Obituary
Anna Mae Marine Harris of Denton, MD passed away at her home on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009. She was 58 years old.
She was born March 29, 1950 in Cambridge, MD, the daughter of the late
James G. and Betty June Arnett Marine.
She was a graduate of North Dorchester High School Class of 1968. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, playing pool, knitting, visiting neighbors and playing with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Harvey Lee Harris, whom she married on Oct. 31, 1986, a son and his wife, James “Jimmy” Travers, Jr. and Shelly of East New Market, MD, 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, and Amber Travers all of East New Market, a brother, Fred F. Marine of Cambridge, a niece Johanna Marie Marine of Phoenix, AZ, and a nephew Justin Wyatt Marine of St. Michaels, MD. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Otis H. Marine.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Douglas Morley officiating. Interment will follow in Unity-Washington Cemetery in Hurlock, MD. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wed. from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Fred Marine, Tyler Travers, Stephen Wiles, Krista Wiles, Bryan Blann, J.R. Wheedleton, Kevin Covey, and Evin Hinch.
