Anna Oneida Sinclair's Obituary
Anna Oneida Wright Sinclair, 85, of Harmony, MD went to be with the Lord on Dec. 22, 2008.
She was born May 26, 1923 in Hurlock, MD, to the late Martin Edward Wright and Martha Emily Outten Watson Wright. On March 5, 1938, in Talbot Co., MD she married Archie L. Sinclair, Sr., who preceded her death on May 31, 1988.
Oneida was an active member of Faith Fellowship Church and served as treasurer for many years. She shared her belief in the Bible and the Lord with many. She was a diligent wife and mother, as well as an exemplary housewife.
Survivors include daughter Yvonne Statum and husband Frank of Federalsburg, daughter Alice Harden and husband Lonny of Alexander City, AL, son Archie L. Sinclair, Jr. and wife Della of Preston, MD, daughter Neva C. Thomas and husband Wilbert O. Jr. of Manassas, VA, and son Louis W. Sinclair and wife Bonnie of Denton, MD; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Also there are many nieces, nephews, good friends and neighbors. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by sons Dennis James Sinclair and Leslie P. Sinclair, and six siblings, Joseph Gardner, Kemp J. Wright, Wilbert T. Wright, Grace Sharp, Neva E. Dolby and Frances E. Wright.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, Dec. 26, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston with Rev. Howard “Buddy” Dunn officiating.
