Anne Kemp Roxbrough's Obituary
Anne Kemp Roxbrough (age 89) Of Alexandria, Virginia passed away March 7th 2016. She was the beloved wife of the late Carlton Roxbrough for 50 years. Mother of Jane Guy, Lee Roxbrough and John Roxbrough. Grandmother of 7 and great-grandmother of 6. Anne was an inspiration to all she came into contact with. She loved her gardening, sewing and her many Bridge groups. Raised on Wade's Point Farm in McDaniel Maryland, she loved to reminisce about the great times she had on the Eastern Shore. After graduating from St Michaels High School, Anne worked in Baltimore during the War years and married Carlton in 1946. She will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends for her good nature, winning smile, and peaceful demeanor. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the American Lung Association. Graveside service will be at Spring Hill Cemetery in Easton, Maryland on April 23rd, at 11 a.m. Arrangements are by the Ostrowski Funeral Home P.A. of St. Michaels, MD. 21663
