Annie Mae Hubbard's Obituary
Mrs. Annie Mae Smith Hubbard, daughter of the late Dora Lake Smith and Ollie Smith, Sr., was born on June 6, 1927 in Hurlock, Maryland.
She attended Dorchester County Public Schools. She joined the former Washington United Methodist Church at an early age.
Annie was united in holy matrimony at an early age to Themas Hubbard, who preceded her in death.
Annie was employed by John Wright Cannery at an early age. She later went to Con Agra poultry plant where she retired from. She then worked for the B & G processing plant of Hurlock during the summer months until her health started to fail.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was the last of her ten siblings who preceded her in death; Rosie Smith Robinson, Harvey Smith, Floyd Smith, Mary smith Hayward, Lillian Smith Thompson, Emma Smith Cephas, Ollie Smith, Jr., Mildred Smith, Florence Smith and Betty Lou Smith Matthews.
She leaves to mourn two daughters, Odessa Hubbard of Hurlock, MD., Claretha Williams (Ernest) of Denton, TX, two sons, Edward Hubbard (Beverly) of Deltona, FL and Keith Hubbard (Christy) of Federalsburg, MD, 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, a close friend and relative Mable Frazier.
