Annie Mae Plutschak's Obituary
Annie Mae Plutschak of Preston departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 9, 2006 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 69.
She was born April 4, 1937 in Baxley, Georgia, the daughter of the late William and Fannie Mae Wood McDonald.
She was a graduate of Easton High School class of 1955. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Gerald “Sonny” Plutschak and their three children: Mark Lee Plutschak and his wife Bertie of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Robin Lynn Van Schaik and her husband Jeff of Denton, and Christa Jean Breeding and her husband Mark of Federalsburg; seven grandchildren: Heather Heffernan, Angela Nelson, Mark Anthony Plutschak, Whitney Van Schaik, Tara Van Schaik, Lauren Breeding and Justin Breeding; three great-grandchildren, Ethan Nelson, Grace Heffernan, Byrden Van Schaik. Annie Mae was the youngest of 11 children and is survived by three siblings, Nannie Lee Steenken of Preston, Anon McDonald of Greensboro, and John Alton McDonald of Federalsburg and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by seven sisters and brothers, Thelma McDonald, William McDonald, L.C. McDonald, Ted McDonald, Grace “Tiny” Johnson, Jean McDonald and Genell McDonald.
Funeral services will be held on Wed. July 12, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home with Pastor Francis Trascritti and Troy Glessner officiating. Interment will follow in Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Caroline Hospice Foundation, Inc. , P.O. Box 362, Denton, MD 21629. “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.”
