Antonia Miranda Cruz's Obituary
Obituary for Antonia Miranda Cruz
July 10, 1952 - February 9, 2026
With profound sorrow and deep gratitude for a life so full of love, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Antonia Miranda Cruz, who was called home to be with the Lord on February 9, 2026.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Antonia lived a life rooted in faith, strength, and selfless devotion to her family. She began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), caring for others with tenderness and compassion. But the greatest calling of her life was always her daughters. She created a home filled with warmth, strength, and unwavering love.
Her Catholic faith was the foundation of her life. Antonia leaned fully on Jesus and carried a profound devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. She was a true warrior, resilient, faithful, and selfless, who instilled her deep love of God and family into everyone she touched. Her faith was deeply ingrained and guided her life, serving as a foundation for her family and a constant reminder to always put God first.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Juan Miranda Acevedo and Rafaela Cruz.
She is lovingly remembered by her three loving daughters: Suheil (husband Jim), Lissette (husband Oscar), and Jenniffer, who carry forward her strength, faith, and unconditional love. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Xander and Nyla Diaz, Ayden Galloza; James, Gianna, Talia, and Tatianna Froio; and Samyah and Syelah Cabrera; and a cherished great-grandmother to Nadia, Jasiah, and Xayla Diaz and her beloved nephew, Henry Rolon Miranda, who was like a son to her and held a special place in her heart.
She is lovingly remembered by her 11 siblings, many nieces and nephews, and countless friends whose lives were touched by her kindness, faith, and generosity.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort knowing she is now at peace, embraced by God and reunited with loved ones who went before her. Her legacy lives on in the faith she instilled, the strength she modeled, and the fierce, unconditional love she gave so freely.
