Archie Lacy Sinclair, Jr.'s Obituary
Archie Lacy Sinclair, Jr. passed away on Monday, June 6, 2011 at his home in Preston. He was 69.
He was born on April 3, 1942 in Cambridge, Maryland, the son of the late Archie L. Sinclair, Sr., and Anna Oneida Sinclair.
After graduating from High School, Archie enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1960 and was honorably discharged in 1963. After his service, he married the former Della Chance. Archie was a self employed arborist working for many years with his family. He loved his family and enjoyed his grandchildren. He attended Bayshore Community Church in Gumboro, DE.
He is survived by his wife, Della Chance Sinclair of Preston, four daughters, Frances Dunn and her husband Jim, and Patricia Sinclair all of Preston, Amy Larrimore and her husband Charles of Laurel, DE, Kelly Martin and her husband Jared of Federalsburg, one son, Archie Sinclair, III and his wife Susie of Ft. St. John, British Columbia, thirteen grandchildren, three sisters, Yvonne Statum of Salisbury, MD, Alice Harden of Alexander City, AL, Neva Thomas of Manassas, VA, one brother, Louis Sinclair of Denton, MD, and special friends, Ricky and Hazel Clark of Denton, MD. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leslie Sinclair.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Jeff Hudson officiating. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Beulah. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 12, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
