Arthur William Handley's Obituary
Arthur W. Handley, III, known as "Bill" passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Delaware Hospice in Milford, DE surrounded by his family. He was 70.
He was born on November 10, 1950 in Milford, DE to the late Arthur Handley, Sr., and Mildred Hastings Handley.
He graduated from Oak Ridge Military School in Greensboro, NC in 1970.
He owned and operated Handley Exterminating service from 1971-1990. He also loved to farm.
In his free time, Bill enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger days. Later he loved to watch television and spend time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Joyce Dill Handley, a son, John J. Handley and his wife Ashley, and two grandsons: Jacob and John Handley all of Bridgeville; a sister, Phyllis Handley Parker and her husband Carl "Buddy" and nieces all of Bridgeville.
He is also survived by a son, Alan Handley and his wife Dawn and their three children all of Jackson, FL, and a daughter Debra Handley and her son of Greensboro, NC.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 2:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home - Fleischauer Chapel in Greenwood. Burial will follow in Bridgeville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service.
