Arthur E. Hopkins, Jr. St. Michaels, Arthur Eugene Hopkins, Jr. departed this life from his home on Monday, December 8, 2014. He was 65. Born on May 25, 1949 in St. Michaels, he was the son of the late, Arthur E. Hopkins, Sr. and Carrie V. Nichols Hopkins. He received his education at Frederick Douglas Elementary School in St. Michaels, and Moton High School in Easton, he then attended Morgan State University, in Baltimore, MD. He served in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division in Ft. Bragg, N.C. Following his release from active duty he went into the retail management and retail purchasing business, where he developed his love for fashion. Where ever you would see Arthur, also known as “Lookie†you could be sure he was fashionably dressed. On December 24, 2009 he married Mary Florence Felgenhouer, who preceded him in death. He leaves to mourn; a daughter; Cheri Hoaglin, a brother; Charles Hopkins, Sisters; Dorothy Jones, Gloria Ephraim ( Ephraim), Joan Gibson (Frank), Emma Goff, Diane Hayward, his Step-children; Sharon Trout, and Willie Felgenhouer many Step-grandchildren & Great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral Services will be held at the Ostrowski Funeral Home, 312 S. Talbot St. St. Michaels, on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 1:00PM. Burial will be in the Thomas Memorial Cemetery, St. Michaels.
