Audrey Boone Coughenour's Obituary
Audrey Boone Coughenour of Choptank, Maryland passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Easton. She was 92.
She was born in Queenstown, Maryland the daughter of the late Charles Boone and Mamie Faulkner Boone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert S. Coughenour on April 1, 1999.
She along with her husband, were proprietors of the country store in Choptank that had been there for over 100 years. She was a past member of Bethesda United Methodist Church in Preston.
She is survived by two daughters, Geraldine Ann Ward of Choptank and Connie Lynn Prue and her husband, Ira of Choptank, four grandchildren, five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas LeRoy Coughenour
and eight siblings, Carrie Holden, Regina Schelhouse, Linda Patchett, Had Boone, Charles Boone, Robert Boone, Roland Boone and Frank Boone.
A funeral will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethesda United Methodist Church in Preston with the Reverend Joan Wolff and Rev. Denny Rada officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 to 10:00 at the church. Interment will follow in Belmont Cemetery in Choptank.
