Barbara Mary Alexander's Obituary
Barbara Alexander, age 86, departed this world on June 11, 2023.
Born in England she moved to the United States in 1971. She was a homemaker while her children were small. She then worked at Sherwin and Williams, and Annapolis Paint until she retired. Once she retired she enjoyed some traveling, knitting, reading, and watching old movies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a grandson Marty.
She is survived by a brother Alan (Barbara) of Sydney, Australia; a sister Vilma (Rob) of Paignton, England; two daughters Debra (Mark) of Columbus, MS, and Verena of Federalsburg, MD; also a son Mark (Stephanie) of St. Croix, VI. Granddaughters Samantha (Jonathan) of Hurlock, MD, Tiffany (Brian) of East New Market, MD, and a bonus Granddaughter Amber (Robert) of Caledonia, MS. She was a Great Grandmother of 14. She also had 7 Nieces and Nephews and was a Great Aunt to 7 Nephews and 3 Nieces.
In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to Compass Regional Hospice or Peake Healthcare in her name. Services will be private.
