Barbara Ann Bucheimer's Obituary
Barbara Ann Bucheimer of Horntown, VA and formerly of Federalsburg, Maryland passed away at Harrison House - Snow Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation in Snow Hill, Maryland. She was 77.
She was born on May 29, 1947 in Easton, Maryland, the daughter of the late A. Lee Willen and Rebecca E Bennett Willen.
She graduated from Colonel Richardson High School with the class of 1966.
She worked for Solo Cup, Medal Systems, Preston Trucking, sold real estate and worked with her brother Leroy Willen at Blind Industries.
She was a former member of Christ Church in Federalsburg where she served on various committees over the years, the Federalsburg Vol Fire Company Ladies Auxillary, and also served as a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts with Troop #137. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and great-grandson. She loved doing arts and crafts and was an award winning poet.
She is survived by her husband John "Jack" Bucheimer, III of Horntown, VA, a son, James C. Pratt, Jr. of Federalsburg, two grandchildren: Joshua Pratt and Rachel Pratt, one great grandchild: Jace Pratt; and her former husband James C Pratt, Sr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her siblings Josephione Bradley, Betty Foster and Leroy Willen.
A chapel service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD. Reverend Denzil Cheek will be officiating.
