Barbara Lee Fowler's Obituary
Barbara "Bobbi" Wahl Fowler of Federalsburg passed away on Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. She was 66.
She was born March 2, 1951 in Baltimore, the daughter of Robert R. Wahl, Sr. of Cokesbury, and the late Barbara Bowie Wahl.
Barbara worked as a freight agent for the Maryland-Delaware Railroad and for the Baltimore-Delaware Railroad. She also served as a dispatcher for the Balt-Del RR and for H&M Bay. She retired from Easton’s Walmart. She was an avid sports fan with the Redskins and Washington Caps being favorites. She was a good cook and loved watching Food Network. Barbara loved cats and dogs with her dog “Taylor” being very special.
Besides her father, she is survived by two sons, James “Jim” Fowler of Federalsburg and David Fowler of Cambridge, two granddaughters, Isabella and Mia Fowler, 4 siblings, Gail Wahl, Jeannie Witt Mullen, Paul Wahl and his wife Sherri. and Shawn Wahl and his wife. Donna.and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Robert Wahl, Jr., James Wahl and Michael Wahl.
Funeral services will be held on Wed. Dec. 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment will follow in Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wed. one hour prior to the service.
