Barbara L. Frase's Obituary
Barbara L. Frase of Preston passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 74.
She was born on September 1, 1947 in Stevensville, Maryland the daughter of the late Samuel Smith and Elsie Clark Smith.
She was married to Leroy Frase on July 23, 1965 and they made their home in Preston.
In addition to keeping her home and raising her family, she cleaned houses for many years. In her free time, Barbara loved playing bingo, her beloved cats, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Leroy Frase, Sr. of Preston; three children: Leroy Frase, Jr of Denton, Theresa Frase of Preston and Billy Frase and his wife Kristan of Hurlock; two grandchildren: Madison Rose Frase and Maura Grace Frase.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four siblings: Irene Timms, Mary Jane Jones, Judy Middleton and Buddy Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 10:30 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with the Reverend Howard "Buddy" Dunn officiating. Burial will follow at Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30.
