Barbara R. Jones' Obituary
Barbara R. Jones Easton, Barbara Ruth Jones of Easton, died at the U.M.S.M.C. Easton on Tuesday November 15, 2016. She was 91. Born in Rock Hall MD; on November 20, 1924 she was the daughter of the late Carroll and Ruth Fitzgerald Creighton. Mrs. Jones worked at the Memorial Hospital, Easton for many years, retiring in the mid 1990s. Following her retirement she enjoyed sewing, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and shopping. Mrs. Jones is survived by her children; Geraldine Cheezum, Norma Jean Stewart, Clayton Collison, Linda Eastman, and Sandra Thompson. 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great- Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great grandchildren. Mrs. Jones was a life member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Easton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Easton where a viewing will be held from 10:00AM until 11:00AM. Burial will be in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Rock Hall at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 7215 Ocean Gateway Easton, Maryland 21601 or to the Talbot Co. Humane Society, 7894 Ocean Gateway P.O. Box 1143, Easton, MD 21601.
