Barbara Christopher Lowe's Obituary
Barbara Christopher Lowe of Virginia Beach, VA passed away at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on Sunday, February 9, 2014. She was 75.
She was born on September 3, 1938 in Easton, MD the daughter of the late James Lester Christopher and Louise White Christopher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Willie L. “Buddy” Lowe, Jr.
She was a graduate of Preston High School and continued her education at Salisbury State College. She loved her family dearly. Barbara also loved animals.
She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Lowe-Breiner and her husband, Matt, and Tammy Lowe McGee and her husband, Brian all of Virginia Beach, VA, two brothers, Richard Christopher and his wife, Jackie of Preston, and James Christopher and his wife, Gail of Federalsburg, a sister, Patricia Christopher of Berlin, a niece, Teri Lord, and three nephews, Scott Christopher, Danny Christopher, and Matthew Christopher.
Funeral services for Barbara will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday. Interment will follow at Jr. Order Cemetery in Preston, MD.
