Although I never knew Barbara, I am a 3rd cousin (Hoover side). Want the family to know the rich heritage of the Hoovers: Her Mother Edna Jean is the daughter of Robert Amos Hoover (1897-1980) and Edna Van Scoik (1898-1990). Robert Amos is the son of Amos J. Hoover (1857-1921) and Emma Frances Hoovens (1867-1959). Amos J. is the son of David W. Hoover (1828-1883) and Emeline F. Cramer (1832-1900). And David is the son of our common ancestor Abraham Hoover (1789-1859) and Christina Martin (1799-1869).
