Barbara Stauffer's Obituary
Barbara Paul Stauffer peacefully departed on February 14th, 2024 at the age of 67 in Easton MD.
She was born to James Paul and Leora Covey on April 21, 1956. After graduating from North Dorchester in 1974 she married her husband, Earl Stauffer and had 4 children she loved immensely: Laura, Earl (Chris), Sarah, and Sam.
Barbara was a devoted mother who cared deeply for her friends and family. She was passionate about crocheting baby blankets, rescuing animals, sewing, reading, and above all, spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces, and her sisters.
Survived by her children, Laura Stauffer Parks (Dave), Earl Stauffer (Amber Padilla), and Sarah Stauffer. Grandchildren, Oliver Parks, Sarina Stauffer, Charlie Stauffer, Richelle Kuleshov, and Milo Finch. Siblings, Martha Ann Foster (Charlie), Beverley Barnett (Tommy), Sylvia McDaniel (Larry), and James Paul (Lori). Nieces and nephews Wanda Hodges, Jenny Dyes Toomey (Brent), Crystal McDaniel, Stacey Paul, Jordan Malloch (Rehn); nephews Andy Barnett (Kaye), Paul McDaniel, and J.R. Paul (Leah).
Preceded in death by her son, Samuel Stauffer, former husband, Earl Stauffer, father, James Paul, mother, Leora Covey, and sister Martha Ann Foster (Charlie).
A a gathering for family and friends will be held Friday, March 1st at the VFW in Federalsburg, beginning at 11:00am.
Memorial donations may be made at any animal shelter in her memory.
