Barbara Ann Wise Hawkes' Obituary
Barbara Ann Wise Hawkes, formerly of Pinetown, near Denton, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. She was 53.
She was born June 26, 1958 in Easton, the daughter of the late Harry and Doris Flynn Wise.
She attended Hartford Community College and worked as an advocate for those with needs. She also worked at quality control with the former Allen Foods and with Martin Gilette Company.
She is survived by her husband Waylen Hawkes of Baltimore, a son Bobby Irving of Seaford, DE, 2 daughters April Hall (Dominic) and Ebony Brown (Dwain), both of Federalsburg, 8 grandchildren, 3 brothers Larry Wise (Gina) of Philadelphia, PA, Dale Wise (Azalie) and Dwayne Wise, both of Greenboro, MD, a sister Lois Washington (Jerome) of Dover, DE, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Minister Kevin Brummell officiating. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Beulah. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
