Bernice Cecil Miller's Obituary
Bernice Miller, at the age of 91, peacefully went to be with our Lord and Savior Friday morning, January 9, 2015 at Fredericksburg Nursing Home in Fredericksburg ,TX.
She was born to William and Zilpher Cecil on May 24, 1923 in Steele, Missouri .
She is preceded in death by husband, George Miller, sisters Lucile Cecil, Marie Nace and Billie Wigglesworth and brother Jimmy Cecil.
She is survived by brother Jessie Cecil (Janet) of Sumter, SC,
Freddie Cecil of Poplar Bluff, MO, Berry Cecil and Dean Cecil (Brenda) of Campbell, MO, many loving nieces and nephews , as well as, many dear friends from Grace Baptist Church in Hurlock, Maryland and Wimberley Christian Church in Wimberley, Texas.
Bernice will be missed and remembered as a loving and caring woman. Although she never had children, was a mother figure and role model to many throughout her life.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Grace Baptist Church in Hurlock at 1 p.m. with Rev. David Talley officiating. A visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m. on Wednesday at the church.
Interment will follow at Unity-Washington Cemetery in Hurlock.
