Bernice F. Walk's Obituary
Bernice Walk, age 97, of Sherwood MD died peacefully in Easton MD on March 21, 2018.
Born October 26, 1920 in Catonsville MD, she lived there for more than 70 years before relocating to Sherwood, MD in 1994. Bernice was a graduate of the Peabody Conservatory of Music and pursued music as her foremost passion her entire life. She taught private piano lessons until retiring after she turned 90 as well as taught vocal music in the Arbutus Junior High School. She also enjoyed the music of hand bells and organized and directed choirs in each of the churches she attended.
Survivors include her daughter Joyce Dare (Rodney-deceased) of Grovetown, GA, and her son Bruce Walk (Melissa) of Rochester, MN, 3 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday May 19th at Catonsville United Methodist Church in Catonsville, MD. Interment will be at St. Luke’s Methodist Church, St. Michaels, MD at a private family service at a later date. Arrangements by Framptom Funeral Home, St. Michaels, MD.
