Bertha W. Bradshaw's Obituary
Bertha W. Bradshaw of Galestown passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Mallard Bay Nursing Home in Cambridge, Maryland. She was 86.
She was born on October 6, 1922 in Dorchester County, Maryland the daughter of the late Charles Wheatley and Mary Wallace Wheatley.
She was married to Jackson Bradshaw who died on December 7, 2003. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Galestown United Methodist Church, the Eastern Shore Thrasherman’s Association, and enjoyed sewing and coin collecting. She loved to spend time with her family and her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son, Howard J. Bradshaw and his wife, Mary Ann of Galestown, two grandchildren, Barbara Dayton and her husband Jeff of Cambridge, and Buster Bradshaw of Galestown, 5 grandchildren, Jodi Garvin, Allison Gumpman, Chelsea Dayton, Brianna Bradshaw and Daniel Bradshaw, one great-great grandchild, Jaxson Davis, and one sister, Annalee Malizia of Wilmington, DE.
A funeral service will held on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at 12:00 noon at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. in Federalsburg with the Rev. Ruth Tull officiating. The family will receive friends from 11-12. Burial will be private at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Beulah.
