Bessie L. Milligan's Obituary
Bessie L. Milligan 80, and formerly of Hurlock, died on Wednesday August 8, 2012 at Harrison Senior Living in Georgetown, DE where she had been a resident since 2001.
She was born in Bridgeville, DE on July 19, 1932 the daughter of the late John Harry Brown and Hester Sarah Banning Brown. Her husband, Norman E. Milligan, Sr. preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Bridgeville High School and took music courses at Pilgrim College in Allentown, PA. She worked as a seamstress for many years. She is survived by a son, Mark D. Brown of Hurlock, a sister, Grace Martin of Seaford, two brothers, Wilson H. Brown of Dover and Nelson T. Brown of Seaford and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for her will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Unity-Washington Cemetery in Hurlock. Funeral services are under the direction of Framptom Funeral Home, P.
