Bessie L. Pinckens' Obituary
Bessie L. Pinckens of Federalsburg passed away at her home on Friday, Oct.11, 2013. She was 78.
She was born in New Bern, North Carolina on August 29, 1935.
She had worked most recently as a line leader at Allen Family Foods and had faithfully worked for the company for over twenty years. She loved to sing and was a true “jokester”. She had attended Zion U.M.C. in Federalsburg and Farmers Memorial Church of God in Christ in Jonestown.
She is survived by her husband of thirty-four years, Philetus M. Pinckens, a daughter, Dazaree Smith of Hurlock, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services will be on Thursday evening, October 17, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg Maryland. A visitation will be held on Thursday one hour prior to the service. The committal service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Federal Hill Cemetery.
