Betty Blunt Burrows' Obituary
Betty Blunt Burrows of Preston, MD, died Monday, October 20, 2014 at Caroline Nursing Home in Denton, MD. She was 78 years old.
Born in Easton, MD on February 18, 1936, Mrs. Burrows was the daughter of the late George Raymond Blunt and Mabel Storey Blunt.
Betty lived in Preston with her husband of 60 years, Charles T. Burrows, where she was a homemaker and loving wife and mother.
Besides her husband, Charles, she is lovingly remembered by her daughter Dale Harmon and husband Richard of Trappe, three sons Chuck R. Burrows of Queen Anne, Jerry Burrows and wife Kay of Preston, and Mark Burrows of Easton, and a daughter-in-law Donna Burrows of Preston; seven grandsons, Richard Bobitka of Easton, Jay Burrows of Salisbury, Richard Harmon of Trappe, Brian Burrows of Preston, Robbie Burrows of Queen Anne, Tyler Burrows of Winston Salem, NC, and Brennen Burrows of Preston, and a very special granddaughter Ashley Burrows of Preston, five great-grandchildren, and a sister Hilda Palone of Salisbury. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Lindner, a sister Edith Knopp Jump, and a brother William Blunt.
Memorial services will be held on Sat. Oct. 25, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Framptom Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow in Junior Order Cemetery in Preston. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
