Betty Rieck McDonald's Obituary
Elizabeth (Betty) Rieck McDonald passed away on August 12, 2024. The daughter of the late William and Dorothy Rieck, she was born on March 2, 1934. Betty was preceded in death by her husband John Alton McDonald. She held numerous office management roles and ended her working career with S. L. Webster & Sons, LLC.
She is survived by three children, Renee Lovell (Coe), Steve McDonald (Claudia) and Diane Bayliss (Rob). She has six grandchildren, Holly Cerini (Adam), Erika Holecheck (Jeremey), Kayla Scharf (Justin), Lindsay McDonald, Hannah Warfield (Chris) and Mitchell McDonald. She also has four great-grandchildren, Hunter Cecil, Penelope Cerini, Kennedi Scharf, and Rhett Warfield.
Betty Enjoyed years of crabbing and fishing with her husband and friends. Betty and Alton were proud members of Federalsburg VFW for many years. She very much loved being with her family where they shared numberous memories together.
A funeral service will be held at Framptom Funeral Home by the Coales in Federalsburg on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Noon. The family will receive callers for one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donation in Betty's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
