Betty R. Foster's Obituary
Betty R. Foster, formerly of Federalsburg, MD passed on Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 at
Brandywine Nursing Home in Wilmington, DE. She was 87 years old.
She was born Feb. 24, 1924 in Eldorado, Dorchester Co., the daughter of the late
A. Lee and Rebecca E. Bennett Willen. Her husband Carroll G. Foster, preceded her in
death on Oct. 8, 1994.
Betty had worked for the former Sunshine Laundry in Federalsburg, and for the Blind Industries and Service of Maryland. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and was a
Member of the former Ruth Circle in the church of many years.
She is survived by two daughter, Carol L. Miller and her husband Raymond of Newark, DE, and Sally V. Thomas and her husband Jim of Federalsburg, three grandchildren Steve Thomas, Lisa Frisco and Christopher Thomas, ten great-grandchildren, two sisters Josephine Bradley of Smyrna, DE and Barbara Ann Bucheimer of West Virginia, and several nieces and nephews. Brother F. Leroy Willen preceded her.
