Beulah Gae McCumbers' Obituary
Beulah “Bea” McCumbers formerly of Federalsburg passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Country Rest Home in Greenwood, Delaware. She was 89.
She was born on May 27, 1928 in Charleston, West Virginia the daughter of the late Jenkins Waybright and Corda Goff Waybright.
She was married to Denver E McCumbers who preceded her in death on February 22, 1988. She worked in Caroline and Baltimore counties as a nursing assistant for over thirty years at private homes, nursing homes and hospitals. She enjoyed her flower garden, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by seven children; Carolyn Neidlinger and her husband Fred of Milford, DE, Jerel McCumbers and his wife Susan of Pasadena, MD, Joyce Kontgias and her husband Mike of Horntown, VA, Marvin McCumbers of Federalsburg, Ronald McCumbers and his wife Lois of Federalsburg, Michael McCumbers and his wife Terry of Bridgeville, DE and Danny McCumbers and his wife Brenda of Lakeland, FL, fourteen grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by six siblings Lee Waybright, Mabel Vanburen, Alma Doolittle, Della Goodrich, Elmer Waybright and Ona Waybright.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 12:00 Noon at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. Interment will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00.
