The family of Brenda Lee Luebbecke (Smith), 61 of Preston, MD are saddened to announce her passing on Monday, November 6, 2023. She passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family; after losing her courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born on July 27, 1962 in Easton, MD. She grew up in Hurlock, the daughter of Victor Smith and the late Eleanor Perry Smith. She graduated from North Dorchester High School with the class of 1980.

Brenda married Hans Luebbecke on September 26, 1992 and they made their home in Preston. Shortly thereafter in 1995, their beautiful daughter, Tiffany, was born; whom she cherished with all her heart. Tiffany was not only her daughter, but also her best friend and caregiver for many months during her illness.
In her free time, Brenda loved traveling, shopping, decorating her home, and most of all, spending time with her family and her beloved cats: Princess, Mama, and her grandcat, Chloe.
