So Long to my Friend
I will miss you my Friend, so long.
Brenda was funny, dry funny.
She was Honest & Frank.
Sometimes to my own regret.
In High School, Brenda could strip you down with words, not all of them unspeakable.
Only in the last decade had we reconnected. I think our roles reversed...
Because of the tenor of her tongue, I began to call her "Church Lady"
She would strike back by calling me by my middle name. I will miss her
Brenda, a mutual friend of Vanessa & me helped us to reunite after decades, a debt I will never repay. (Thank you)
But I think Heaven just got a Morning Star.
Go with God, Church Lady.
With sincere condolences to the family and friends
