She was a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and painting. She enjoyed being outdoors connecting with nature in her yard and garden. Her main priority in life was being the best mother/grandmother she could be to her three daughters and seven grandchildren.
Brenda was dedicated to writing many journals throughout her life, her daughters found some final messages and would like to share this one:
"Well, I am getting ready to take my final journey. I have been sooo blessed, so loved, and have amazing people surrounding me!!! I have stage 4 cancer. I have had so many wonderful people in my life, and I have lived my life always being true to myself and understanding the importance of a close and loving family. I have learned many lessons and taught many lessons throughout my time here. Now over the next few months, my family and close friends will walk with me until I reach that door, and there I shall walk through ready to embrace my new journey!! I leave you all with this advice: Life is meant to be a temporary stop on your journey and what's most important is not material things, but the love that you have shared with others, the knowledge that you have shared, and most importantly the time you invested in them. I have created a legacy that is full of amazing human beings, precious and strong and they will carry on my legacy forever and a day!!!!! Please be respectful of my family's heartache and support them but not overwhelm them!!"
