Brice H. Morris' Obituary
Brice H. Morris of Federalsburg passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at Easton Memorial Hospital in Easton, Maryland. He was 77 years old.
He was born on February 24, 1938 in Trappe, Maryland, the son of the late Harvey A. Morris and Naomi Poyner Morris.
Brice graduated from Easton High School with the class of 1956. He was married to Amanda Mitchell Morris on April 6, 1963 and they made their home in Federalsburg.
He served in the National Guard for six years assisting area communities. He began his life long career as a tool and die maker/machinist at Maryland Plastics in Federalsburg. He later worked at Caldwell Casting in Cambridge, Campbell Soup in Salisbury and later retired from M&M Refrigeration in Federalsburg.
Brice loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a troop leader for the Federalsburg Boy Scouts for many years. He also enjoyed cooking, reading, and studying his family genealogy.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Amanda Mitchell Morris of Federalsburg, two daughters, Michelle Klinedinst and her husband, Jim, of Dagsboro, Delaware, and Betsy Willoughby and her husband, Kirk, of East New Market, Maryland, five granddaughters, Beth Harris and her husband, Ryan, Darcy Klinedinst, Taylor Willoughby, Alexis Willoughby and Shelby Klinedinst, a great granddaughter, Riley Harris, a sister, Rosalie F. Dudrow of Easton, two nephews, Mark Dudrow and his wife, Sharon, of Virginia, and Michael Dudrow of Delaware, a niece, Dawn Henckel, of St. Michaels, Maryland, an adopted son, Presley Santos, of Federalsburg, an adopted daughter, Dr. Grace Lopez M, of Ecuador and their children, and a godson, Jonathan Markley, of Denver, Colorado.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 12:00 at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Funeral Home.
