Bruce Alan Merriken's Obituary
Bruce Alan Merriken of Newcomb died unexpectedly on February 24, 2024 at the age of 58.
He was born to the late John R. Merriken and Mary Lou Merriken.
Bruce attended St. Michaels High School, graduating in 1984. Following graduation, Bruce worked in a variety of jobs in the construction industry for a number of employers. Bruce was also a gifted welder operating in a self-employed capacity for a number of years until his recent death.
Bruce was an avid fisherman and was known to enjoy an occasional adult beverage with friends and family.
Bruce is survived by: three brothers, Bob Merriken (and his wife, Susan) of Easton, Dave Merriken of St. Michaels, and Brian Merriken of St. Michaels; his nephews, Danny Merriken of Royal Oak and Lucas Merriken of St. Michaels; his nieces, Lauren Merriken of Tilghman (and her partner, Todd Mills), Emily Merriken (and her partner, Alex Esteves) of Salisbury; Stephanie Merriken of Wittman; his grandnephew, Parker Merriken; his grandniece, Paige Merriken, and his ever loving companion for the past four years, Doreen Smith.
Calling hours will be held at the Framptom Funeral Home-Ostrowski Chapel, St. Michaels on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00PM.
