Charles I. Jones
Easton: Charles Irving “Booky†Jones of Easton, Formerly of Wittman, died at the William Hill Manor, Easton, on Wednesday June 1, 2011. He was 85.
Born in Wittman, on September 6, 1925 he was the son of the late, George M. and Elizabeth Fairbank Jones. Mr. Jones worked as a farmer in the Bay Hundred area. Later he became a resident at the Chesapeake Center, Easton.
Mr. Jones is survived by a sister; Beatrice L. Wharton and her husband “Buddy†of Claiborne, a brother Thomas J. Jones and his wife Marylyn, of Wittman. Also survived by 1 niece and 5 nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; David Jones and George W. Jones.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00PM at the Olivet Cemetery, St. Michaels, on Monday, June 6, 2011. Friends may visit on Sunday, at the Hurley & Ostrowski Funeral Home P.A. St. Michaels, from 2 to 4PM.
