Rev. C. Lloyd Stalcup's Obituary
Rev. C. Lloyd Stalcup of Hurlock, MD passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at University Maryland Shore Medical Center at Easton. He was 81. He was the son of the late Cecil and Lois Stalcup.
He graduated from Sabetha High School with the class of 1957 and then went on to serve in the United States Navy for 25 years. The Rev. C. Lloyd Stalcup was founder of Lord's Servant Christian Helps Ministry Missionary Outreach that extended relief services to many missionary outreaches throughout the United States, primarily to the Appalachian Mountains.
He and his wife Ruth pastored Christ Our King Church at Federalsburg, Maryland.
He enjoyed reading his bible, working as a missionary, solving Sudoku puzzles, and watching college football.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years; Ruth Dabney Stalcup, children; Lawrence Stalcup (Marie), James Stalcup (Amy), and Christopher Stalcup, step children; John Collier, Jr., Robert Collier (Mary), Francis Collier (Kelly) Rash, Amy Eismann, Theresa Carabello (Ray), Monica Quidas (Mike), and Mary Ornstein, sisters; Darlene Mullenix (Babe), and Sharon Gross, and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg, MD on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 1pm with Pastor Gary Meekins officiating. Friends may call on the family from 12-1pm prior to the service. Interment will be held at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD immediately following the funeral service.
